It’s in the little things that we often miss chances for joy and awe. Waking in the morning. Rolling out of bed. Hygiene care. And, an agenda of action. Each of these moments were a chance at joy and awe. The farther you go in life, the more awesome the view in the rear view mirror. How about recognizing the making of joyous memories as they occur. Good or bad, troubling or easy, you will make it through. You will learn something. You will succeed. Trust that. Experience that now!
It is often stated that our attitude determines our altitude. It’s even deeper than that. Our attitude determines whether the task is stress or passion. It’s not just a matter o loving it or not. It’s a question of whether you realize that this “work” gets you closer to your love. Once you gain that understanding in consultation with your plan, you can engage every task with the passion that makes it enjoyable. Your altitude increases as your attitude improves.
All anyone can ask from you is to do the best that you can. My challenge to you is to learn better. Read, ask, try, innovate the ordinary and expected. Push the envelope and get outside the box. The beauty is that your exploration can focus solely on your interests. Become an expert, and share that knowledge, competence, and new confidence with the world. And, do better because you invested the time to know better.
Life draws you in close. You engage, and often you’re too close to recognize the larger plan. You get caught up in the small things. You get frustrated with moments when the hours have more joy than bad.
Take a step back and realize that life is more of a master plan than a daily grind. A little challenge here and there gets you moving. But, it is small in the grand scheme of things. Push through with gratitude, smart work, and the expectation of a healthy resolution. You will see it clearly work for your good.
Right now is the best time of your life. That’s a hard sell when you have pressures, disappointments, and trouble. But, the point is more about your mindset than it is a commentary on reality. If this moment is heartbreaking, feel that. But, also rejoice in the fact that you can feel so deeply as to hurt. When you lose that ability to feel with authenticity is when life no longer has the potential for joy.
Right now is the best time of your life because NOW leads somewhere. Your investment now of mindset, positive thought, and expectation of success will be validated with joyous outcomes. The incessant search for silver linings makes silver linings more possible. Don’t miss them. Don’t miss right now.
